My name is Ava Holm and I am currently a student at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. I plan to graduate in spring of 2027 with certifications in Social Media Marketing and Athletic Coaching. From there, I plan to transfer to a 4 years school to complete my major of Elementary Education. This website was created as a way to learn all there is to know about Ava Holm.
I graduated from Becker High School in 2024. During high school, I did post-secondary through St. Cloud State University and received credit for multiple courses. Currently, I’m working on certificates at ARCC.

I currently am enrolled in Written Business Communication, Developing Web Pages, and Coaching & Officiating Theory. In the fall of 2025, I will finish the Social Media Marketing Certification this spring and Coaching Certification.
Dance has been one of the most important parts of my life. I have been in dance since I was 5 years old and started coaching it when I was 15. Some other things I love include hockey, camping, anything outside, travel, quality time with my close friends and family, and cooking.

Work Experience
Nannying
Summer 2020-Summer 2022
- Worked with between 2-4 kids each summer for 3 summers
- Responsibilities included feeding them, entertaining and playing with kids, and overall making sure they didn’t get hurt or ever put themselves in a situation that could have resulted in injury or worse.
- During summers, lived in an apartment in Grand Rapids, Minnesota so that it was easy to get to the kids house.
Soccer facility
October 2022-April 2023
- Given the title of facility attendant for the Great River City Soccer Facility in Monticello, Minnesota
- Was required to keep facility clean and do some simple upkeep things like laundry, vacuuming, and light cleaning of bathrooms
Coaching
August 2020-present
- Was unofficially a staff at age 14, on call for substitute coach
- Hired at age 15 as an assistant coach to the director of the program
- Moved up as an assistant coach to an experienced coach 2nd year as staff
- Next year was promoted to a head instructor, one of the youngest head coaches for the Becker program
- Currently head coach and assist ten classes at the Becker program
- Am in charge of multiple kids at a time, safety of the kids, setup of activities and shows and clean up, and help with summer classes
- Gain lots of training and experience through conventions and coaches meetings
Devine House
April 2023-Present
- Assisted living home of 3 women with various physical and mental disabilities
- Hired as a on-call DSP (direct service provider)
- Needed to be trained in for CPR and the Heimlich maneuver
- Responsibilities include house chores, food preparation, charting on all consumers, ensuring safety of all consumers and knowing what to do in case of emergencies
- Also is responsible for passing medication to consumers and transportation as well as working overnight shifts

Dance
2010-2024
- Danced in Just For Kix program since 5 years old
- Currently is in 4 styles of dance. This includes kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop
- Joined the Becker dance team 2021
- Was given the position of being on leadership team 2022
- Named a captain for the 2023-2024 season
- Has gone to state every year since joining and been conference champions the past 4 years
- Lettered both seasons and was named most improved varsity kick, most integrity, and honorable mention for all-conference as well as all-conference senior year
- Jazz dance team finaled for the first time in program history senior year

- Joined in 3rd grade
- Played for multiple teams including Becker/Big Lake, Princeton/Becker/Big Lake, North Wright County and multiple summer teams
- Went to regionals final year

- Requirements include having above a 3.7 GPA, volunteering hours, and have at least 24 hours of volunteering during the school year
- Lettered sophomore year as well as got 50 hours club sophomore and junior year
- Have participated in numerous individual service projects and fundraisers through NHS

A few fun facts about me are that I am obsessed with the sport of hockey. Any time the Minnesota Wild play, I will always watch. I also have a twin brother and a little sister. My happy place is at my cabin on our family lake just north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. I love making flower bouquets for my friends and family.
