About Cameron Lawson

My name is Cameron Lawson, and I am currently a student at Anoka-Ramsey Community college. I am working towards my Business: Workplace & Technology associate’s degree. I will be graduating this upcoming Fall of 2025. The classes I have taken revolve around the use of Microsoft 365 Business applications. In addition to my proficiency of those applications, I also developed skills in HR, Finance, Writing, and Communication.

On top of pursuing my degree I have many different personal interests. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is buying and selling antiques. I also enjoy hiking and camping. My brother lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota, so I have been on many awesome trips out there.

10/2019 to 10/2021: Retail Associate

Best Buy Co., Blaine, MN

I started in customer service, but switched to a product flow position after a few months. I specialized in setting and maintaining planograms/product demos. While maintaining merchandising standards, I also picked and packed online orders, and kept accurate track of inventory moving through our warehouse. At the same time, I was required to assist customers.

11/2021 to 06/2022: Order picking associate

Dedicated Networks Inc., Ramsey, MN

I started at Dedicated Networks as an order picker. I mainly focused on large scale orders that would be sent through our freight team. It was my job to accurately pick each order, and troubleshoot any complications.

06/2022 to 9/2023: Arrivals Lead

I was promoted to the Arrivals Lead position, in which I managed the team that organized and unpacked all incoming products.
