Ericha D. French - Web Dev Portfolios

My Name is Ericha French, I was born and raised in the twin cities. I have alway loved technology since a very young age. When my toys would break I would tell my mother, and the proceed to take it apart and fix it. Then my mother would see me playing with the toy again, and say I thought you said that broke, and I would just reply and say it did but I fixed it. I figure anything I can take apart, I can fix it and figure out how it really works. I also love working on car too. My dad has taught me so much about technology and auto mechanics throughout my whole life.

Personal Life

I love to learn, I feel like you can never know enough of anything. Love to surround myself with people I can learn from too. I have played semi pro basketball for the MN Mist in 2013. Me having a passion for basketball my whole life and didn’t get to go to college and play so it was like I was living out a dream playing for them. I had two more children after playing which stopped me from playing again. I have 3 children ages 17, 7 and 6 years old. Everything I do is for them, which is why I choose to go to college in the first place. It’s never too late to go to school.

Going to college all these years I have always been unclear on what I wanted to be or what I wanted to do with what I have learned. After switching my major a couple of times, I believe I now know what I would like to do.

Started a clothing line that I sell it on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/MashkedeBizhikiIkwe I sell digital art work and graphic T- shirts as well. My goal is to make and manage webpages too. I own a domain name and still trying to figure out what I will use it for, right now I’m using it as a portfolio to so my work.

Studied Computer Programming, Web Development, Web Design, as well as Help Desk. I know how to build a computer from scratch as well. Been doing HTML coding since Black Planet and MySpace eras. My first computer was a IMB with a black screen and green text.
