Greek Islands
A place of history and beauty, where culture and customs can vary island to island.
Places To Go
There are so many places to go and things to do when visiting Greece. With somewhere around 6,000 islands and islets, and at least 200 of those being inhabited and available to visit, there is no shortage of things to do. The Greek Islands provide the uniqueness of so many places just a boat ride away, each island being known for it's own thing.
Naxos, along with Paros, both are popular islands and are about a 40 minute ferry ride apart. Perfect for day trips and are known for their beautiful beaches and traditional villages.
Mykonos, one of the most visited of all the islands, is known for its vibrant nightlife. This island attracts plenty of the younger crowd and has plenty of beautiful beaches and cultural experiences including museums and churches.
Delos, known as the birth place of the Greek twins Artemis and Apollo, and one of the most sacred islands in Ancient Greece. Home to a UNESCO World Heritage site, this historical hub has a religious center, commercial port and some iconic ruins like the Terrace of Lions.
