My Future

There’s something really special about planning for a future that feels both peaceful and purposeful. Lately, I’ve been imagining myself stepping into the world of farm and pet sitting—caring for animals, keeping daily routines running smoothly, and soaking in the quiet charm of rural life. Even though this chapter hasn’t officially begun, thinking about it fills me with excitement. I can already picture early mornings with soft sunlight stretching across the fields, the steady rhythm of feeding animals, and the satisfaction of knowing families can trust their pets and farms are well cared for.

While those plans are still taking shape, crocheting has become my grounding force in the present. It keeps my hands busy and my mind calm, offering a creative space where ideas can unfold. Each stitch feels like a tiny step toward the future I’m building. Whether I’m working on a cozy blanket or trying out a new pattern, crocheting gives me room to think, dream, and create.

What I love most is how naturally these two worlds seem to connect. Crocheting now feels like preparation for the slower, more intentional lifestyle I hope to embrace through farm and pet sitting. It’s creative, comforting, and a reminder that meaningful things often grow quietly, one small stitch, or one small step, at a time.
