My name is Ty Olson and I am going to Anoka Ramsey to finish an associate’s degree with an emphasis in biology. Im not 100% sure what I want to do yet as a major but I do love working with animals and I love the ocean, so I am chasing a degree in marine biology. Another idea that I have for a career in mind is a scuba instructor. I have gone through many of the certifications of diving and would love to teach others how to do it as well. It is such a beautiful world under the water and it is so important to show people so they have empathy for it as well. Here are some great ways you can help keep our oceans clean and healthy!

In my spare time, I enjoy a multitude of different activities. Some of my favorites include hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, snowboarding, and spending time with my dogs and my friends. I also like doing research to find new ways to keep our oceans clean and healthy.
My dream vacation is to go to Sydney, Australia!
